POOLUP

YOUR POOL. YOUR RESERVOIR.

THE PROBLEM

When the flow stops, your household shouldn't have to.

Municipal water interruptions arent measured in hours. In 2026, Johannesburg households have experienced water outages lasting up to four weeks.

Traditional backup systems add another tank, more infrastructure and more maintenance. Prolonged water storage can also raise water-quality concerns if not properly managed.

The existing reserve

What if your home already had a water reserve?

HOW IT WORKS

What happens when the water stops?

PoolUp uses the water already in your pool to provide a filtered backup supply to your home when municipal water isn't available.

PoolUp monitors incoming municipal pressure while it remains on standby. A pressure drop automatically activates the PoolUp backup supply.

Municipal water supplies the home while PoolUp remains ready in the background. A drop in municipal pressure activates PoolUp, supplying filtered pool water to the home.
Automatic activation

Never miss a hot shower.

PoolUp continuously monitors incoming municipal water pressure. A drop below the configured threshold activates PoolUp automatically, drawing from your pool reserve, filtering the water and maintaining delivery pressure throughout your home.

System journey

From reserve to running water.

PoolUp moves your existing pool water through pumping, three-stage filtration and pressure management. Suspended particles, chlorine and selected unwanted compounds are progressively reduced before the water enters your home's backup plumbing supply.

A simpler approach

Use what is already there.

PoolUp is designed around your existing pool and household infrastructure, reducing the need for additional storage and temporary connections.

Traditional backup approach

More infrastructure.

×
Additional storage tank Another vessel occupying space on the property.
×
Temporary connections Hoses or temporary fittings during interruptions.
×
Hands-on reconfiguration Additional plumbing changes may be needed when water stops.
×
More stored water Another stored volume requiring maintenance.
PoolUp approach

Existing reserve. Better used.

✓
Uses your pool reserve The stored water is already available on the property.
✓
Permanent installation No temporary hose connections during an outage.
✓
Automatic pressure response A pressure drop automatically activates the configured PoolUp system.
✓
Works with existing systems PoolUp can supplement existing storage infrastructure.

Important: This calculator provides an estimated pool volume and potential reserve period only. It does not represent the amount of water that can or should be consumed. Actual usable reserve depends on pool design, operating water level, filtration requirements, system configuration and household consumption. A PoolUp property assessment is required before a system is specified.
